In this example of adapted CLIL material for Science I have chosen the pictures seen below. I have chosen these because I found them very appropriate for the material I needed to create on Mountain Landscapes.

Have you ever seen a mountain? Have you ever been on the highest part of a mountain (the peak of a mountain)? It could be interesting living there for a year! What do you think about it?
A mountain is a natural elevation of the Earth´s surface.
PEAK: the top of a mountain
SLOPE: the side of a mountain
BASE: the bottom of a mountain
VALLEY: the space between two mountains
A set of mountains is called a MOUNTAIN RANGE
